Attorney Bios

GIOVANNI P. SILVAGNI was born in 1972 in Far Rockaway, New York, the son of Italian immigrants. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from St. John's University in 1995, he decided to pursue a career in law and attended St. John's School of Law. As a law student, Mr. Silvagni received numerous academic awards and made the Dean's List each semester. In 1999, he graduated with cum laude honors and began his career at Connors And Sullivan P.C. Mr. Silvagni was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2000, the United States District Court, Eastern District, in 2004 and U.S. Tax Court in 2006. Mr. Silvagni specializes in the areas of Elder Law, Trusts, Estates, Estate Administration, Asset Protection, Business Planning, Family Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Corporations and Surrogate's Court Litigation. He regularly appears on the live cable television show "Ask The Lawyer", a production of the Prayer Channel and has been a guest lecturer at numerous senior centers including Italian language speaking centers and professional organizations. Being a native speaker of the Italian language enables Mr. Silvagni to act as an advocate for the Italian American community throughout New York City.
