Joanna Gwozdz was born in Lublin, Poland in 1976 where she grew up. After graduating from University of Maria Curie-Sklodovska (Lublin, Poland) and receiving her Master’s Degree in Law she decided to come to the United States and continue her legal education in New York. In 2001 she graduated from Touro Law School obtaining her Master’s Degree in Law. In 2002, she moved to Staten Island where she lives with her family. Fully fluent in Polish, she serves as an advocate for the Polish American Community in New York.
