Lauren Ahern was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and raised on Staten Island. Graduating from St. Joseph Hill Academy High School in Staten Island, she went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in History from Binghamton University. Ms. Ahern earned her J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. During law school Ms. Ahern was a teaching assistant for first year law school students and she also participated in the school's Elder Law clinic program. In addition she completed internships with the District Court of Nassau County and the United States Attorney's Office. A litigation paralegal prior to attending law school, Ms. Ahern concentrates her practice on Estate Litigation, Estate Administration and Real Estate.
