RENATA LANDSKIND was born in 1974 in Kiev, Ukraine. In 1977 her family emigrated to the United States, where she grew up in Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn. After graduating from St. John's University with a Criminal Justice major, she decided to pursue a legal career, graduating from Brooklyn Law School in 1999. Ms. Landskind specializes in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates with a strong emphasis on the Probate and Administration of Estates. Her legal ability also extends to Asset protection, Business Incorporation, Real Estate and Litigation. Throughout her law school career and shortly thereafter, Ms. Landskind was employed by the Counsel to the Public Administrator of Kings County and became uniquely familiar with Surrogate's Court practice and procedure as a result of working so closely with court personnel. Ms. Landskind regularly appears on the live cable television show "Ask the Lawyer", a production of the Prayer Channel and has been a guest lecturer at events sponsored by the New York State Bar Association at health facilities and senior centers discussing the significant effects estate planning can have on people and their families.
