KERRY D. ARCHER was born in Bridgetown, Barbados and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her undergraduate degree from the City University of New York, Baruch College and her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. As a law student, Ms. Archer made the Dean's List each semester and was an Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law as well as a Magistrate for the Grade Appeals Board.

Ms. Archer served on the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association from 2010-2012 as the Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee and Co-Chaired the Section's 2012 Annual Meeting in New York.
